Uchechukwu Genevieve Komolafe DNP, FNP Board Certified. Dr. Komolafe is a skilled and experienced family medicine practitioner proficient in management of acute and chronic diseases. She provides compassionate, high quality, and excellent healthcare services across lifespan.
Komolafe completed her medical programs in Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and Florida State University with distinction having been recognized as a McNair scholar with research focused on women’s health. She has over 25 years’ experience in direct patient care, patient case management, and clinical services. Upon completion of her graduate program in 2018, she relocated to Alamogordo where she deepened her passion for clinical excellence and patient advocacy through 4 years in exemplary clinical expertise championing access to primary care in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Alamogordo. Her dedication and commitment to serving and caring for underserved patients in Otero County and neighboring communities elevated her to the role of medical and laboratory director where she had peer and collegiate oversight, mentoring and training clinical staff, health care administration in addition to her clinical responsibilities.
An astute clinician adept at evidence-based medicine, value-based care, and prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of her patients. Dr Komolafe is recognized as an access champion in the State of New Mexico with the track record of providing access to high quality care to New Mexicans. She is licensed in multiple states including New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Utah.
Dr. Komolafe accepts all patients and all insurance. She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) professional associations, and active in her community here in Alamogordo by volunteering to read to preschool children, fundraising during book fairs. She also participates in medical outreach programs, and community health fairs in communities in southern New Mexico. Dr. Komolafe resides in Alamogordo with her family. She enjoys traveling and spending time with Family.
